Paul's daycare had it's Summer Party on Saturday (06/26/10). Spread out across the parking lot was a ball pit (Paul was in utter ecstasy), a petting zoo with pigs and chickens and a duck and a snake and an alligator(!?!?), hot dogs and cotton candy, a giant inflatable obstacle course culminating in a 10' slide, and all the juice boxes a toddler could drink. Paul had a blast, as did his other classmates and their parents.
Monday morning, Daddy and Paul drove into the parking lot at daycare like usual - and there was no more party!!! Poor Paul was devastated.
