Paul's new favorite things:

1. A notebook and a pen. . .
(The red mark on his cheek is just a little beard burn - he seems to be a wee bit allergic to daddy's whiskers, although he can't get enough daddy kisses.)
2. Watching videos on the computer. He loves both videos of himself and of cats doing silly things.

Taking it like a man.

Paul did very well with his catch-up booster shots on Friday afternoon. He was drawing with a pen (PEN! PEN!!) in Mommy's day planner (NOTEBOOK! NOTEBOOK!!), and only paused to briefly scream in rage as the nurse administered the two shots before resuming his diligent note taking.

Then, we went to Trader Joe's, where he growled at one of the employees, and tried to pay for the groceries with his Zoo admission card. Then he passed out.

Ouch!

Early this morning, 3am, Mommy felt Sequel kicking from the outside! Pretty cool, although we need to work on his bio clock. ..

Press Button! Button!

Paul looooves pressing buttons, and the doorbell is no exception.

(The doorbell says, "Shawn - get the side door.")

Visiting with Baby Nate

Last weekend, we jaunted down to NY to visit Mommy's friend, Honorary Aunt Cindy and her new baby, Nate. Paul seemed a little unsure of what to make of this crying, red-faced creature. . .
. . .but for Mommy, the baby-holding thing came back just like riding a bike.
Paul was much more impressed by Nate's airplane rider toy. . .
While Mommy stayed at Aunt Cindy's for moral support and some baby snuggling time, Paul and Daddy went to NJ to visit Bubbie Rose. She was very happy to see them!

Sequel likes Mommy's ice cream. . .

it's given him his first (detectable to Mommy, anyway) case of hiccups!

Weil family dinner and night out!

Tonight, Paul, Mommy, and Daddy took the train into Boston to meet the other Weils for dinner.

Train! Train! Wheeeee!
It was difficult to get any pictures, what with the Paul and Asher insanity, Sophia trying to mediate between them, Jacob frantically finishing homework before the apps arrive, and Mommy, Aunt Andi, Uncle Eric, and Daddy coordinating holiday and birthday party plans. . .

After mayhem, er dinner, Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Eric, Aunt Andi, Jacob, Sophia, Asher, and Daddy went to see Topol in Fiddler on the Roof, while a very sleepy Mommy took an even sleepier Paul home to bed.
