. . .but you are not amused. . .
We had dinner at the Rainforest Cafe, where for overpriced entrees and hugely overpriced drinks, the whole family can dine while animatronic animals periodically "come to life" and roar, bleat, trumpet, and growl. Paul was mesmerized by, if somewhat leery of these displays of robotic animality.
After our meal, we wandered through the gift shop, playing with the puppets and assorted other crap we had no intention of buying. Safta picked Paul up to look at the "alligator statue" which was in a stone-wall encircled "lagoon." Then the alligator came to life, snapping and lunging. Paul leaped right off the stone wall into Safta's arms, and would not let go until he was quite out of range. . . Good times.
Once we got home, and got Paul in bed, we celebrated Joss' luniversary with a nice big bowl of baby oatmeal!
Verdict was decidedly "meh," but with potential.
