Hanging out with Safta!

After coming back fron NJ, Paul got to hang out with Safta Sheila for the afternoon. They took a walk down the driveway. . .
. . .and up the driveway. . .
. . .and back down and back up. . .
We took some toys out onto the porch. . .
. . .but Paul was way more interested in helping Safta refill the bird feeders.
Safta - gotta put the cage on, or the squirrels will eat all the bird food!
Woah - look at all the broken tree branches from all the storms this winter. . .
. . .I need a drink. . .

Happy Birthday Safta Sheila!! We love you!!

Happy Birthday Safta Sheila!

This weekend, we went to visit Safta Sheila for her birthday! Here is a pciture of the card Paul drew for his Safta:
After going to temple and seeing a lot of Safta's students (hello students!), Daddy and Paul went to New Jersey to visit Bubbie Rose.

A boy, his daddy, and an apple:

Bubbie Rose and Paul share the same sock-fashion sense. . .
. . .and also share some songs and stories. . .

Dinner Date

Tonight we had dinner at Georgia's house to celebrate her mommy and daddy's new grill. Once Paul woke up from his cat-nap in Georgia's bed (thanks again for sharing!), they got to play with the ball popper. . .

. . .until Paul was distracted by Rocky!
Paul and Rocky got along swimmingly - with Paul even eating a cheerio after Rocky had "kissed" it for good luck (mommy only threw up in her mouth a little bit).
Georgia and her Mommy and Daddy!
After dinner: DANCE PARTY!
PS-> Happy 17th Luniversary, Paul!!!

Dim Sum - Chinatown

Today, we decided to go to Boston's China Town for Dim Sum. . .good decision indeed. . .

Despite the picture, Paul really enjoyed the beef noodle he's eating here.
Paul and Mommy share some Chicken Feet. . .yummy!
Paul would have eaten more, but he was so distracted by the handsome fellow in the mirrored pillar just behind us.

March Madness - the pictures

Paul rests on the bench, er, coach, er, daddy, for a few minutes before the buzzer.
Paul gets some cozy coaching before the game.
Paul's got the ball. . .
. . .he shoots. . .
. . .he taps it in! Great shot!

(Here are the video highlights of the game. He's ready for the Bearcats now!)

Saturday at the zoo

Saturday, Paul and Daddy went to the zoo. It was a little cold to see too many animals. . .
. . .but perfect Elephant-riding weather!

March Madness, baby!!!

Drinking from a glass, snarfing water like a pro.

Paul only wanted to drink from Daddy's big-boy glass. . .

And he did pretty well until he snarfed water up his nose. . .

It was not the first time he snarfed, but it was his first time from a big-boy glass!

Paul and the Cheese Nip Saga

Oh noes! I dropped the Cheese Nips!
I'm sorry momma - they are all on the floor. . .
Hmmm. . .if I take this bag. . .and this Cheese Nip. . .
. . .maybe I can start putting them back in the bag. . .
Nah - they are better in my mouth!
Hey - did I miss one in here?
Yup! Got it!
Moooooooooooom! Need more Cheese Nips!!
I said MORE CHEESE NIPS!!!!
::fin::

Blocks, baby!

Hmmm. . .what's in the bag?
Ahhh, blocks!
Stacking blocks.
Who needs Burt Reynolds and a bear skin when you've got Paul and a hedgehog?

Baby proofing the cabinets - WIN!
