Happy Father's Day

Celebrating all fathers. And grandfathers. And great-great-great-great grandfathers!

Someone told me it's all happening at the zoo. . .

I do believe it, I do believe it's true.

The monkeys stand for honesty, Giraffes are insincere,

And the elephants are kindly but they're dumb.

Orangutans are skeptical of changes in their cages,

And the zookeeper is very fond of rum.

Zebras are reactionaries, Antelopes are missionaries,

Pigeons plot in secrecy, and hamsters turn on frequently.

What a gas! You gotta come and see at the zoo.

June 5th, 2011, we went to the Stone Zoo with our friends Adam & Mary, and their daughters Divasha and Segal. Fun was had by all. The "good" pictures are by Adam, lyrics by Simon and Garfunkle.

Sesame Street and Human Anatomy

(Daddy and Paul were in the shower, singing a song from Sesame Street. . .)

D: . . .I've got two eyeeeeeesssss! And they're both the same size!
P: Penis!
D: How many penises do you have?
P: One.
D: What else do you have two of?
P: Testicles!!
D: Um. . .I don't know that verse. . .

Memorial Day Parade

The grandfolks came to our house for the annual Memorial Day parade. It isn't much - the town garbage truck, the high school band, a single crazy parade lady - but it is ours. What better way to remember our fallen warfighters than with Tootsie Rolls thrown at us by the Cub Scouts?

Waiting for the parade to start.

Paul has TWO flags!

Joss means business.

All smiles.

Where's My Hair?

I'm Shorn!

Mommy and Daddy are Great Stylists.

Touch a Truck!

We went to a truck petting zoo -- or Touch-A-Truck -- sponsored by a local business. 50 cool trucks to climb on, honk horns with, and drive away. We had a great time with the Feinbergs and their friends.

Wow. That's high.

Paul the Patriotic Fireman

Paul & J - great friends.

Bob was here too. Can he build it? Yes he can.

Daddy and Paul by the wood chipper.

Paul is ready for school. Mom is well reflected.

Ready for the long haul.

Scooped.

I can do it!

Oh, and Joss was there too - with little K.

Little dozer with J.

You're in the Army now. Actually, Marines.

Bye-Bye!

Want a Cup?

A drink for me...

A drink for you...

And a hat to look dapper.
