Day 10-11: Thursday and Friday, 8/26-27/10, Cruising to Vancouver

Our last day was a cruising day - no excursions, just activities on the boat and packing for the next morning. The weather was spotty - at times sunny and lovely (and Mommy finally got to sit out on the top deck with a coffee and a book and a sleeping Joss in his stroller for a bit), and other times a bit rainy and windy (which is, apparently, the preferred weather of cruise-ship following orcas. . .)

Grandma and Grandpa popped out from packing to say hello.

A rainbow! A single rainbow! It's. . .kind of intense. . .what does it mean?

A tugboat set against a dramatic sky as we enter Vancouver.

Joss will miss the cruise ship the most of all of us. . .

We got to swim a little at our hotel just outside of Vancouver, and then had yummy Malaysian food with Safta, Grandma and Grandpa, and Cousins Shira and Jonah. Wicked early the next morning found us at the airport - where there were no baby-changing stations in the rest rooms. So, mommy had to change two diapers on the floor of the concourse. Stay Classy, Vancouver.

Grandma and Grandpa were on the same flight, and got to feel our pain. =)

Grandpa kisses make it better.

We made it home, tired and cranky and jet-lagged. We had a wonderful time, but were glad to be home again, as Paul said, with "all my toys!!"
