Hanukkah 2010 - First Night

Happy Hanukkah! The first night, December 1, 2010, Daddy was still away on business travel, so Mommy, Paul, and Joss lit the menorah themselves.

Paul was really into playing dreidle.

Joss was into feeding himself puffy stars.

Paul didn't seem to mind that the latkes were from a box mix.

After a minor squabble over toys. . .

. . .the boys enjoyed a warm bath.

Joss was putting his toys in the clean laundry basket; Paul came up behind him, put out his hand, and said "No, Joss! Stop sign!!" Mommy keeled over laughing, then took Paul to go tooth brushing.

When we came back from the bathroom, Joss had pulled out a basket of VHS tapes (and dust bunnies), and scattered them around the room.

Paul, very helpfully, picked up the cassette tapes and returned them to the basket, which Mommy promptly removed from reach. (Not sure why we still have that basket - don't think the VCR is even plugged in anymore.)

It may not have been the most exciting of first nights, but we had fun.
