Weekend Fun - Saturday

We decided to take advantage of the good weather with some fun family activities! On Saturday, we went to a fair in nearby Winchester. Paul was just tall enough for some of the kiddy rides. He rode this train twice!
We met up with Sonia, Kavi, and their daddy Talib at the fair. Kavi is a bit too small for the rides, so Daddy took Paul and Sonia on the spinning Dragon while Kavi, Joss, Talib and Mommy waved and cheered.

After hotdogs and hamburgers, Paul, Sonia, and Kavi got to ride the "wiggle worm."

This picture isn't the best representation of Paul on the ride - he was having a blast!

There was also a book sale at the fair, and Mommy found a hard-back book of the movie Annie - complete with movie stills. Paul loved the book, had daddy read it at bedtime, and woke up several times during the night to "read" it himself.

For Paul, all problems can be solved with the judicious application of a binky. . .

I walked into the room to find Paul cracking the heck up every time Joss would smile. All was fun and baby giggles until Paul decided to feed Joss. . .cow's milk from his sippy cup. . .

Helping Hands

Paul helped Grandma give Joss a bottle today. . .

Joss' Bris

On April 11, 2010, we welcomed Joss Nathaniel to the Jewish Community. Thanks to all the family and friends who attended; your love and support is invaluable.

Paul, the Piano Man

Another First: Ladders!

Paul has learned how to climb ladders. It started with his cousin's bunk bed, and now he can't get enough of them!

Still hanging in the NICU

Joss is over 7lbs now, eating very well, nursing like a champ. . .but, like his mommy, he is uncoordinated. Unlike mommy, who just bumps into things, Joss is still having occasional trouble coordinating eating-breathing-heart rate. This is totally normal for preemies, and just means that he's still a little immature.
Also, the nurses love Joss and think he's adorable. . .maybe it's a plot to keep him there?

Joss is doing well.

Joss is doing better and better every day. He's gaining on his big brother's birth weight, taking more food by mouth, and learning how to enjoy a good milk-coma:
He looks so much bigger - probably because he's finally wearing something that's not a too-large hand-me-down for a change. . .

Mommy? What am I wearing?
